The word is many real estate companies (We work with many MLS offices) is that there is not a lot of happiness about Zillow, Trulia, and etc dominating rankings for individual property addresses and all main keywords. The key to off setting this is testing, and tracking. If you look at some of my blog posts, you can see how well videos, a group of social media sites, Activerain itself, and of course your websites rank in the eyes of big G.
The results vary some based on your location, and internet browser, but you can own multiple first page spots with a combination of videos,social media sites, Activerain, your site, and Classified ads. More, and more potential clients search very specifically with property addresses, neighborhoods, zip codes, and etc. That is why you see the mega listing sites ranking for every address, and neighborhood, in the USA. But you can take your deserved spots. The reality is that more is better (With out spamming). The more social media accounts, the more videos, the more claimed business listings with fully completed profiles, the more places you can post all your properties, and etc. You never know which page, or post can hit that magic combination of keywords that ranks and get you a flow of clients.
