I first first fell in love with the Columbia Pacific as an undergraduate, counting shorebirds on Willapa Bay. My degree in bio-geography from The Evergreen State College and my first career as Plant Ecologist for the National Park Service taught me a lot about the importance of place. Even then it was all about “location, location location!”
In the fast paced real estate markets of San Francisco, Marin and Sonoma, I worked with a range of property from Victorian fixer uppers to high rise condos to coastal country homes and land. My ability to streamline dynamic and challenging transactions with humor and grace won me client loyalty and a strong referral network. My understanding of microclimates proved a helpful bonus. Plants and people thrive when they are in the right place.
Happily returned now to this beautiful peninsula, I have found my preferred microclimate in Seaview. Outside of work I can be found on the trails or the beach or the water. No matter where you find me, I’m ready to make sure your needs are met and you’re on the path to Real Estate success!

| Kim Cooper was exactly what we wanted in a realtor when it was time to sell in San Francisco. She was honest, easy going and charming from the start. Extremely knowledgeable, a great listener and communicator, and totally committed to her clients. She showed up for our first meeting well prepared with a folder full of neighborhood-specific comparables and a strategy for pricing and marketing that rang true. Kim understood our time and availability was limited, and to our tremendous relief she stepped in to manage multiple aspects of the house prep. She quickly found competitively priced contractors (floor refinisher, painter, plumber, handyman and a stager) to take care of things. She oversaw their work and kept in constant touch with us for decision-making throughout the entire process. She also made time in her schedule to deal with required inspections. When the house went on the market (with a gorgeous custom website) Kim was always there to meet the other agents and prospective buyers, and to answer their questions. Within two weeks of listing we received 8 solid offers, and sold for 21% over asking. There was an unexpected delay in closing but Kim worked with us and the buyer's agent to keep the sale on-track and drama free. Everything was quickly resolved and the house sold. Kim is relaxed and low-key, but showed her tremendous commitment by working non-stop for us till the job was done. We were blown away with the results! | Kim helped me find and buy my house in Marin and was an absolute joy to work with. I was a first-time buyer and she made the whole process transparent and hopeful. Kim was always available when I needed help, and also gave me great tips for when I wanted to explore solo. And in those moments when I felt a little anxious, Kim's calm professional experience helped me evaluate things with clear eyes. | We really feel fortunate to have worked with Kim on finding our dream starter home! Not only was she attentive and available for any anxiety prone questions we might of had, she also provided a voice of reason when we needed a little perspective. Kim was both a patient and active listener- able to sit back and gage our reactions, provide feedback or support if asked and never came off as pushy. She was very adept at navigating the complexities of the contracts and did a great job of clearly explaining the process to us so that we always felt like we knew what was going on. Kim made this overall scary and exciting experience all the more pleasant with her positive attitude, good humor and overall support. I can't imagine buying another house without her involvement and I would highly recommend her as your agent! |

| We couldn't have asked for a better real estate agent than Kim. We met her more than a year ago at an open house she was hosting and were instantly attracted to her mellow surfer vibe. There was no pressure to buy, no hidden agenda, from Kim. We just conversed like we were friends talking about different neighborhoods. We were very much in the beginning of our home search process and there was much to learn, not only about the market but about ourselves and what we wanted. Needless to say, there were a lot of growing pains throughout the process and Kim was great in supporting and listening to us.
