What is Home Staging? Staging homes is the art of professionally preparing your listing or house for sale. Staging highlights the home's best features and helps the buyers see themselves and their furnishings in the home. Staging sets the scene throughout the house to create immediate buyer interest in your property. The best way to get top dollar and sell your home quickly is to price it right and stage it great. The investment in staging should always be less than the first price reduction.

The second step is completing the recommended work. The homeowner can do the work themselves, or I can coordinate and manage the work to be done. The staging process is always fast-tracked, as the client and Realtor are anxious to have the property listed in a time frame.
The third and final step is Showcasing. A team of stagers will transform a property with existing furniture and accessories, or can provide an inventory of furniture and accessories to transform a property into a show home, emphasizing spaciousness, flow, and architectural details and focal points.
In addition, after the sale of a property, we have been retained to help clients decorate their new home, with paint colour selections, countertops, flooring, furniture and accessories.

"This letter is in regards to the recent home staging that Carolyn, of Homelicious Home Staging and More, did for one of my clients.
It was a wonderful 2 bedroom home with a sunken living room. It had had some recent upgrades and was overall clean and well kept. The main reason we called in the services of a professional home stager was that it was definitely a bachelor pad, and the client worked long hours so didn’t have a lot of time to try to dress the home up himself. He had been offered a dream job in another province so it was imperative that we sell his place in the shortest amount of time.
I have known Carolyn for a while so was confident that she was the right person for the job.
