Feng Shui Long Island was founded in 1997 by Carole Provenzale. Mrs. Provenzale was truly a handful of Feng Shui consultants during those years who helped pioneer the way for generations to follow, which included her daughter Laura Cerrano. Ms.Cerrano studied Feng Shui with along side her mother while simultaneously studying at SUNY New Paltz to receive her Bachelor's Degrees in Art Education and Fine Arts. In 2000 Laura became the second generation of Certified Feng Shui consultants in her family and during that year she established her own practice called, Feng Shui Manhattan. In 2010, Carole passed away and short after Ms. Cerrano merged the two companies together.  

Ms. Cerrano is a motivational speaker, published author and Certified Reiki Practitioner specializing in re-connecting people to their environment and authentic self.  She provides quality, personalized, affordable and informative Feng Shui Consultations for Homes, Businesses, Corporations and New Construction projects. Meet Laura Cerrano of Feng Shui Long Island and Manhattan

Certified Feng Shui New York City and Long Island Expert Laura Cerrano has over 13 years of on-site experience having studied with some of the finest Masters in Feng Shui, Reiki, Shamanism and Ascension.  Feng Shui Expert Carole Provenzale, Laura’s mother and mentor, took her on as apprentice from the early age of sixteen honoring Ms. Cerrano as being the second generation of Certified Feng Shui Consultants in her family. Utilizing her Native American background, along with various ancient spiritual disciplines, Laura has developed advanced Feng Shui Cures, blessings, insights and suggestions as to accommodate every client’s personal goals. Ms. Cerrano is commonly referred to as an “advanced alchemist” and “light worker.”

Laura’s combination of formal education and spiritual studies has allowed her to develop  unique customized approaches for every Feng Shui Consultation. She studied at Nassau Community College and graduated with a Associates degree in Fine Arts in 2002.  Ms. Cerrano completed her formal education at SUNY New Paltz, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Art Education and Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in 2008. During those years Ms. Cerrano simultaneously continued her training with theory and on-site first hand experience to become a certified Feng Shui consultant.

Ms. Cerrano developed her natural talents in the Arts which expanded her understanding of symbolic language with how to utilize color when sharing suggestions on how to create visual and energetic healing atmospheres for her client’s homes and offices.  Her training in Feng Shui, along with various other spiritual teachings has and continues to  develop her intuitive ability to read and feel energy.

Debbie and I met Laura at a health fair and were immediately attracted to her personality and ‘mindful’ presentation of materials – we instantly asked her to consider speaking at our Cancer Wellness Retreat with confidence that our guests would be as enamored with this subject as we were.

When Laura learned what Strength for Life was about the wheels were in motion and she thought that a sage smudging would be an excellent addition to our weekend.  A few of the guests were currently undergoing chemotherapy and Laura suggested they smudge after each therapy session.  Laura demonstrated the proper protocol for a smudging – and each guest was given a supply of white sage to perform the ritual at home. At the conclusion of the smudging she told them that with a pure intention – there is no wrong way, alleviating any fear of trying a smudging on their own.

Laura put together packets of information for each guest explaining the Bagua, the use of colors, placement, design, simple Feng Shui tips and information on the ‘5 Element Theory’ etc.

The ‘aha- moments’ continued for many, and with each ‘potential problem area that we exposed Laura had a quick solution giving peace of mind to all. The information and presentation was above and beyond what we hoped – our sincere thanks for adding this dimension to our retreat.

Hello Laura!Thank you for writing!  All is well thank you!  I’m still working on my apartment, I haven’t let up.  I have created mini projects and goals to help keep me motivated when working on different sections of my space.So with these little things it’s time consuming but I am really keeping up the momentum.  I also made my third trip to housing works thrift shop to donate stuff.  There is still so much stuff in my apartment though!  I am really enjoying the projects though and wish I could be at home right now working on it instead of the office.I bought storage boxes for under my bed at Ikea.  I got low boxes so there is still some space.  I thought that would be good.  I only put clothes in the boxes.  So that’s set!  My closet is looking great too.I have been taking photos as I clean from the same spot in my room so that I can create a stop-motion video of the project when I’m done.  I look forward to sharing it with you!
