When you love the sea as much as Bob Publicover, and your heritage is as much apart of who he is, it's no wonder friends and associates refer to him as "The Captain".

To say Bob loves the sea, though, is an understatement.. "When I'm on the water, I'm in my element. I love the smell of the salty air, the rocking of the waves and the cry of the seagulls. I even feel like I have salt water coursing through my veins."

A Genuine Enthusiasm:  Today, his love for the sea is just as strong. In fact, as an active member of the United States Coast Guard Aux., he often spends his spare time as an Officer, teaching boating safety courses to the public, inspecting vessels, patrolling the local waters to assist boaters in distress. His Coast Guard designations include "specialist" in weather, advanced navigation, seamanship, Aide to the Commodore and past Commander of a Flotilla.

The Ideal Place:  For someone who loves the sea so much, the "Treasure Coast" of  Florida is the Ideal place to call home. I love this community. "It's the perfect place for me to enjoy the ocean and sample some of the cultural events and fine dining along the "Treasure Coast". After vacationing here he decided a career change was in order and the rest is history.
