Perhaps, the buyers decided on another house. Plus, whenever buyers mark several homes as interested, a sharp agent will always narrow down the search by asking more specific questions for their needs.

How do you know they are interested? Did they "heart" the listing? Or did they just look at it?

I think that it could be many of the answers below.

Even though a buyer marked "interested" that does not mean they still are after talking with their agent or driving by the property and finding that the area is not quite what they are looking for. There are many reasons. I guess it would be best to just call the agent and ask.

Good question Jack. I do preview homes and if I know it is not what they want I would not show it to them.

Jack Lewitz You're not looking at your listing from a buyer's prospective. There is a difference between potential interest and rationale for viewing the listing.

Because it not not really fit the criteria the buyer requested.

Ron and Alexandra Seigel answered this one for you and perhaps these 'buyers' have been determined to not be Real buyers!

This is why I don't use reverse prospecting. The gold nuggets looking for me concept never worked for me.

Oh there are many reasons of which are too numerous to list here, but a few:
- Over priced?
- Buyers are interested? How do you know? Reverse prospecting is not a good method of judgement
- Did you "PO" anyone?
- Is there something wrong with the property?
- Does the listing have decent pics and description?
Do I need to go on?

I don't set anything for reverse prospecting. Search criteria might be set in more general terms and then it's up to me to determine if the criteria really meet my clients' needs. I've seen buyers check everything that is sent to them as a favorite and they have no idea why they did so. Instead of reverse prospecting, I set up all of my clients on concierge mode so I can review what gets sent to them first.

Jack Lewitz - now they want to make money for sure. So even I wonder why!

Is this just one particular listing, or is happening to several listings?

Maybe there's a lot of competition out there. Maybe it meets some general parameters but, upon further review, is not the home for them.

I would notify those agents..they may not realize those buyers are interested or think they are interested.
809,258
Maybe they are interested online but not ready to ser it in person yet? Or are you finding prospects that tell you their agent won't show it?
900,128
There are a lot of lazy agents out there or the reverse entries might be old.

Low commission? They want to show their own listing? Just speculations.
4,272,548
Selling office commissions on some Seattle homes ($800k) are in some cases only $500 to $1000. Homes are selling like hotcakes for above asking price. I don't know if the buyer is paying the commission difference or not...

Agents may be sitting back and waiting for the buyers to let them know they want to see it. I have heard a tale that some agents are just lazy. Don't know if that is true ... but that is what I heard.
3,416,038
It is a buyers agents job to inspire and ask buyers to see homes they like. If they are not pushing the buyer gently they are missing out.

Perhaps their Buyer Representation Agreement or Buyer Customer Service Agreement does not cover that property.

Lack of communication? How do you know they are interested vs. your listing just showing up in a search? Just asking....

Like Annette Lawrence , Palm Harbor, FL 727-420-4041 stated, there are many reasons. Buyers may have already found a place, they may not be in the area, the list goes on and on.
, did you reach out to the agents and let them know?
921,504
There are many reasons.
They range from a not motivated buyer to history with listing agent and everything in between. Use the tool to send a message to the agent and assess their response.

Is this an isolated case? It could be that particular agent has some apprehension. I'd probably contact the agent and indicate their buyers showed interest and wondering if they have any questions. Or, it could be the buyers are looking but not really qualified to buy.
