I just hope everyone obeys the evacuation orders. Having been a disaster and emergency response contractor for 25 years I can really empathise with first responders and the personal risks they have to deal with whence rescuing those who don't obey evacuation orders. They're there for a reason.

I hope those in the path have moved to safety

I find it interesting that Ca. wants to secede from the country but they still want money from the feds

I also find it interesting they can spend millions on protection for illegal aliens but maintenance of their infrastructure is too expensive?

So glad I moved from that crazy place!!!

This Florida native will "ride out" a hurricane.  I've done it before and will do it again.  But a 770-foot dam that is about to crack?  I am getting out of there immediately.

May God bless and protect the people affected.  This could become an epic disaster.

My aunt lives (or lived) in Oroville. I haven't spoken to her since before she went to prison & haven't spoken to her since she was released. I suppose they are ok, because her daughter called my other aunt asking for money.

John DL Arendsen The last I heard is they are lowering the water lever so they can repair it. They also are telling residents below the dam to leave. They are talking about over 180,000 people. Let's hope they come up with a fix.
