They want availability and knowledge to get them what they want. They want to trust the agent and feel like the agent understands their needs and will work hard until the mission is accomplished.
knowledge of the topic, first and foremost.....if the agent is knowledgeable, many of the other minor details are acceptable, even if they are not up to par!!!

Like any service or retail operation, people want what is represented. Many dress up in the clothing but arent the real deal...vetting is the name of the game in all things.
That is a $100 Million Dollar Question. I often wonder the same thing when I see the level of incompetence in the industry ... I often ask myself ... Who hires these agents?

It really varies by the individuals.
It varies. I have had clients that chose me because of something I wrote on a blog post. Others may like my experience or a testimonial that someone wrote about my services.
