Yes... and I've had cross-sales with agents where a TC is involved and they don't have a clue as to what is happening once the file is dropped in the TC's lap. (I just hate it when that happens. And that's when I start calling the agent for everything until he or she gets the hint.)

Some folks have a problem with taking responsibility for their actions and their business.

No, I haven't seen this before, but an agent who constantly blames their assistant for everything probably won't have that assistant, or any assistant for long.

LOL!  I've had several transactions where the transaction coordinator on the other end was a worthless sacks of carbon and caused more headaches and hassles than they were worth!  That's why I don't use TCs.

I've had transactions too where the TC was useless and the other agent even more so!  Hence why I love to double side things.

As an owner, I own my teams mistakes and praise them for our victories.

It's a tough role to be a leader, the group gets the wins and you get the blames, but that is (part of) leadership/ownership.

Some people just can not take responsibilities well, they blame anyone else. I would not be surprised if she goes around and blames you too.

Happened this summer and guess what? Her client came to me, the listing agent, for their next purchase. For which I was also the listing agent. It's been a great summer. Keep screwing up, agents, I have no problem with that!!

I don't play the blame but have run into situations where the assistant did not relay information or dropped the ball. It all worked out in the end.

I can't say I've heard the blaming but there have been a few cases where a TC made some pretty big goofs, and clearly the agent wasn't monitoring or even aware of what they were doing. It used to happen in the corporate world, too!

no, I can't say that I have...but if we had problems, I'd be dealing directly with the prime agent so there would be no excuses....

Hasn't happened yet, but that agent does not understand that they are ultimately responsible for the failures of an employee.

No, can't say I did but I know lots of people who are always blaming someone else for their mistakes or bad decisions.
