It varies greatly based on the municipality and the amount of present surveys in the section.
Stevens Point, WI
I've only had 2 done and they were rather large lots, costing the buyer about $1000 in both cases. One yielded an encroachment which killed the transaction ultimately
Prices are all over the place in my area. They start at $350 and go up to $1000.

Have had two buyers have a new survey done on raw land last year, thinking they were between $500-$800.
Unfortunately, I haven't had any experience with that so far.
With no issues and no bad terrain 350-500
Depends on the size of the lot Fred Griffin
But a guesstimate for an average size lot here is $450
Never done one. Inquired about a lot line survey for a fence I was putting up. Just one straight line (the other 3 sides already had a fence). Got quotes of "$800 to look it up on a map and give a verbal" to "$3,000 to put flags in the ground." My area hadn't had a survey done in a couple decades, so there was nothing to draw off of.
Only 1 in 15 years. It was a property in Boulder Creek. Buyer paid approximately $1,000. That was 10 years ago.
Only week acreages and depending on size $1000 to $2500.
Florida; about $400
California about $600 and up
All depends on the size of the parcel too.
I don't pay. But a typical survey will cost around $300 around here.
an instrument survey is about $800.... I did one before I put up a fence...
$500 - just had a deal a few months ago where the surveyor did the wrong house & had to hussle it to do the right one which was mine.
Debbie Reynolds nailed this one!
Around $500 but it obviously depends on the size of the lot.
On average around $500, but it depends on the size of the lot.
I recently paid $375 on a small vacant lot.
Depends upon the size and location.
$700-1,500 for lots, more if it is acreage.
$500-$1,000 or so.
Never have needed to do one.
If it has been surveyed before up to $800. On unsurveyed lots of larger size $2000 and more
About $400- $500 depending upon the company.
We just did one that involved staking and flagging but also a redraw and lot line adjustment and it was $900. Another $120 to record the new plat.
Love the photo, and Sam Shueh gave you a good example. A
I've heard about $500-600, depending on the firm performing the work.
Survey about $500 bucks. Neighbor claimed my client's fence is 6" over wanted to sue.
