They can mis manage the property, fill it with non pying tenants and drop the value in half. OR they can manage properly, fill with good tenants, maintain the property and increase its value

   They only collect the rent and scrape off their percentage.  They never drive by or go inside to see if the tenant is damaging the house.

I think the worse the property management, the better opportunity for buyers. There are some great bargains out there, but you have to act fast. Now the tenants will be another issue, but my boys have that problem covered.
