Zillow is the most popular, but it shouldn't be!

I like them on my own sites, but Z gets a lot of visibility, like it or not.

Most consumers are visiting Zillow first. That is just the way it is.

I alternate, both gets hundreds of thousands of eyes and of course Z the most.

Online reviews are important, I use Yelp the most.

Have not sent anyone to either site.

The answer is both but ZILLOW should be the one that you concentrate on. I see that you are in South FLorida so you should definitely be advertising with both Zillow and Realtor.com bc those sites payoff big in our area. 

The challenge is that ZILLOW verifies your reviews. People do not have to actually purchase a home through you but they must have worked with you in some capacity. 

I advertise heavily on Zillow and Realtor.com but I consistently get listing from Z bc of my profile and reviews. 

Most people who come to my open houses use Zellow or Redfin. Very rarely I meet someone or get a call from Realtor.com

I prefer to get them on my personal page or in writing so I can keep control of them.

Z is just too hard to do for clients. It makes them sign in, create account & most people don't want to do that. I've personally given up on R.c but their latest rollout/remodel looks better. But are they attracting biz?

No more cut & paste anywhere because agents were not being truthful - can you believe that??

I use a different service & I get probably 80% response where I can take the referral & place it where I want.  RealSatisfied

Z is most popular and my daughter uses it for testimonials.... her seller clients provide testimonials and she responds to every one of them... that alone was the reason for two listings...the homeowners were impressed with the fact that she responded to every testimonial...

I prefer them on an agent's site, and what Debbie Reynolds said.  A

Zillow is more effective for marketing recommendations than the other platforms, but the best is Google.com, and Facebook. They are gold, especially Google. 

ZILLOW is your opportunity to be connected at the belly button to enterprises that misrepresent, deceive, present false data, mislead and deal in stolen property. If that is beneficial to you, that where you should invest your effort. It is my hope that such agents do receive special attention.

Realtor.com is ALSO a marketing platform intent of leveraging a name that misrepresents their reality. They have no association with 'REALTORS' expect to keep them on the food chain.

What you must do is ask those entering your open house or in your polling effort, 'Where to you turn for information regarding 'quality/reliability/service' provided by a company or service provider?"

The response will be OVERWHELMING. Spend your energy and treasure in that arena, where your current and furture clients are looking and NOT WHERE MAREKTERS WANT YOU TO SPEND YOUR DOLLARS.

Do your own local market research.

I am not a fan of either.

Zillow seems to be most popular these days. I think " Realtor" dot com should change their name since so much of the public has a negative opinion of realtors. I don't think too many people research or believe reviews.

I find that many clients resist having to go through the entire Zillow sign up process just to leave a review.

Redfin on device. Easy to navigate all data in MLS is there except combination lock number.

I do have clients sign in and leave a testimonial on Zillow.  Sadly, the public looks at this site first when starting their search.  Cannot cut and paste anymore.

Realtor .com is not as good as most of would like to see, but they are far and above z.

Zillow has more market share than Realtor.com and consumers seem to like it better.

I actually try to ask different people to do diffent things.  yelp is best for mobile, so I ask some of my younger clients.  If I knew a client was looking on zillow I ask them to put one there.  And I also ask some to put a review on Google.  But what I don't suggest is all your eggs in one basket.

Welcome back.  Both require the user to create an account.  Zillow has a reputation of not approving people's reviews (or at least being VERY strict) unless you are a premier agent.  I've seen premiere agents write several of their own reviews from their office computers and they've been approved no prob.

Realtor I haven't heard much about.  The reviews clients posted for me posted without any problem.

Avoid Yelp!  They will actually remove reviews if you don't advertise!

Google seems to be where businesses are going to now for reviews.

Zillow attracts many consumers.
