This is not meant to poke fun at your post or to degrade anyone on AR that considers points a priority. 

That said, I really don't care about points and never have.  

What I do care about is my family, my business, educating myself, helping others, staying healthy and living a happy life.

The amount of time that some of you spend on Active Rain chasing points is puzzling to me and would drastically take away from my business alone not to mention all of the other things that interest me. 

That said, I did just learn that logging in and answering your question did just get me 115 points so BOOM! I did learn something new!

Nice recap... but I don't participate for points. I do it for the relationships, the education, etc. 

Yes, that's one thing I love about Facebook - no points to be concerned about! LOL

My big goals were to make 500K and be "free" and then to make a million just because it's a big number....

I used to be super concerned with points, that's no longer the case

All points designed to encourage good citizenship in this little community.

I do not see any changes. Also none of my reported spams gave me points. I checked cz I'm curious why AR is not interested in us reporting and helping clean this community for very. I do it regardless, but something very off about reporting spam posts, comments, etc.

I am sure there are lots of members who are not fully aware of the points system, so thanks for sharing. However, I think most who are on AR do not really care about the points.

Active members can earn between 50,000 and 60,000 points each month if they wish to do so.

I had intervention to my point-hor problem.  I no long gun for points in the AR community.  I am cured.  

This should be brought up periodically (thank you) however when the many reach point heaven....what then?
