Too often! Actually I don't take a break from AR, just have occasions where for weeks there are too many "must do" items for me to have time for the pleasure of participating here. Like getting to the ocean, I come to the Rain as often as I can.

I don't take a break from Active Rain.

When I flip the switch, lots of activities are left static.

When the switch if flipped on, I pick up again those with redeeming value.

This reset happens about every five years.

I have not missed signing on in over 3 years, but I only spend about 30 minutes total here daily. Blogging is my daily exercise as an author, I have to write daily to improve my skills. It's all for fun, it's not work to me. I'm an early riser, so most of my AR is done between 5 a.m. and 7 a.m. while the rest of the house slumbers.
