About Ray Perry

"Sales is in his blood!" is a common statement about Ray Perry because he has been in direct sales for over twenty-five years.  He started when he was in grade school in Calistoga selling raffle tickets to raise funds for the local 4-H club continued selling Grit newspaper door to door through out grade school. When he was in high school he and a fellow student started a newspaper and sold advertising to help pay for the expenses.  After graduating from High School, Ray enlisted in the Air Force where he was a Law Enforcement and Correction Specialist.  He was stationed in Texas, Okalahoma, Korea, Nebraska and Colorado.  After an eight-year tour he went to College in Colorado Springs and then moved to Oregon.  He went back to direct sales with a short stint selling cars and then fifteen years with the Kirby Company. 

His mother's ill health brought him back to California where he opened his office in Lower Lake.  He also had offices in Lakeport, Ukiah, Eureka and Napa.  His interest in real estate has always been a passion over the years as he bought and sold several properties.  "When selling Kirby's stops being fun, I'll sell real estate," Ray would often say.   He started selling real estate over eight years ago for CPS Country Air Properties in the Lakeport office and then because he lives there, he moved to the Riviera office after serving his internship.  In the last seven years Ray has been one of the top three agents at Country Air Properties and is currently the top sales agent in the Clearlake Riviera. 

Ray has been keeping on the cutting edge of technology.   He was one of the first agents in the county to have a personal web site and one of only a half dozen agents with an e-Pro designation in the county.  He was instrumental in setting up the web site for Lake County Association of Realtors and keeps in touch with many of his clients via the internet on a regular bases.
