- With the changes in the mortgage industry today, it is critical that you work with someone who has experience, competence, integrity and the ability to deliver when you need them to…Let me show you
About Us:
Why choose me when every mortgage person claims great rates, great service and great products?
Simply Abilities, Attitude, Capabilities and Leadership: Let me explain...
Abilities: Very few people have the ability to focus completely on the details of every task to ensure a smooth transaction from start to finish. I am a highly disciplined professional who recognize that you and I are in an interdependent relationship. If I don't treat all of our clients like VIP's and don't deliver quality service and solutions consistently, they will go elsewhere. Our reputation is built on the perception of our clients on how we conduct every transaction. You can count on me to deliver...a great impression on contact, professional courtesies, thoroughness, timely follow-up, and always leaving every client with confidence in their decision to work with us, satisfy all concerns and give them a clear summary of the next steps in the transaction.
Attitude: There isn't a person I would not work with! If they cannot get qualified now, it is my goal to help that client do what is necessary to make them a home owner in a very short time. My objective is never let a client feel like a second class citizen regardless of their circumstances and to build trust and loyalty in both of us.
Capabilities: Have the ability to do all types of loans is key to meeting the needs of today's changing market. I am able to do VA/FHA, State Bond, First Time Home Buyers programs, Investments, Construction, Renovation and Commercial loans. You and our clients do not have to know or remember the names of anyone else, because when you are working with me, "One call handles it all"---Total accountability!!! No other lender can do that!
Leadership: Very few mortgage people recognize the need, or have the means to acquire the right leadership skills for this business. To exercise good leadership to move any transaction along a course, you must have a clear understanding of the goals and capabilities of all involved. You must further demonstrate the willingness to get involve and take action to do what is necessary or motivate other to do what is necessary to get the job done. Here again my military background and experiences has placed me at the leading edge of this element of transactional relationship. At the risk of bragging, I can do this better than everyone else because I am at Wells Fargo and we have made the process seamless from originate to closing.
Bottom Line: With over 21 years of military experience, over 15 years of sales experience and over 500 hours of mortgage training and education, there is little doubt about my commitment to this profession. I often tell people this is my vocation not my job, and the simple distinction is, I will be here in all market conditions. When it comes to your largest financial transaction or your reputation and income, you must work with a professional. This term "Professional" means different things to different people, so here is Webster's definition... engaged in one of the learned professions (1) : characterized by or conforming to the technical or ethical standards of a profession (2) : exhibiting a courteous, conscientious, and generally businesslike manner in the workplace 2 a : participating for gain or livelihood in an activity or field of endeavor often engaged in by amateurs <a professional golfer> b : having a particular profession as a permanent career <a professional soldier> c : engaged in by persons receiving financial return <professional football> 3 : following a line of conduct as though it were a profession <a professional patriot>
The one that stands out at me is 2a, only because so many amateurs or people looking for a quick buck and entered our industry as of late. As you search to align yourself with a mortgage professional, I suggest you demand competence and integrity first before you look for product, rate and service. With so much on the line "Shouldn't you trust a Veteran?"
How to Choose a Mortgage Company:
First: make sure you are working with an experienced, professional loan officer. The largest financial transaction of your life is far too important to place into the hands of someone who is not capable of advising you properly and troubleshooting the issues that may arise along the way. But how can you tell?
Here is FOUR SIMPLE QUESTIONS YOUR LENDER ABSOLUTELY MUST BE ABLE TO ANSWER CORRECTLY. IF THEY DO NOT KNOW THE ANSWERS... RUN... DON'T WALK... RUN... TO A LENDER THAT DOES!
1) What are mortgage interest rates based on? (The only correct answer is Mortgage Backed Securities or Mortgage Bonds, NOT the 10-year Treasury Note. While the 10-year Treasury Note sometimes trends in the same direction as Mortgage Bonds, it is not unusual to see them move in completely opposite directions. DO NOT work with a lender who has their eyes on the wrong indicators.)
2) What is the next Economic Report or event that could cause interest rate movement? (A professional lender will have this at their fingertips. For an up-to-date calendar of weekly economic reports and events that may cause rates to fluctuate, call me!
3) When you hear the Fed has "change rates", what does this mean... and what impact does this have on mortgage interest rates? (The answer may surprise you. When the Fed makes a move, they are changing a rate called the "Fed Funds Rate". This is a very short-term rate that impacts credit cards, credit lines, auto loans and the like. Mortgage rates will actually most often move in the opposite direction as the Fed change, due to the dynamics within the financial markets. For more information and explanation, just give us a call)
4) What is happening in the market today and what do you see in the near future? (If a lender cannot explain how Mortgage Bonds and interest rates are moving at the present time, as well as what is coming up in the near future, you are talking with someone who is still reading last week's newspaper and probably not a professional with whom to entrust your home mortgage financing.)
