About me
I have been involved with New York real estate since leaving Wall Street in 2002 and going to work for my family's business. In 2004 I started a mortgage firm with a friend from business school and a few years later founded Commodore Property Group. We work with buyers and sellers, and have gained most of our clients via referrals. We have been featured on NBC Nightly News, CNN International, CNN.Money, The Real Deal and the New York Sun.
I attended Northfield Mount Hermon boarding school, and received a BA in History from Tulane University and an MBA in Finance and Marketing from Vanderbilt University. Prior to obtaining my MBA I worked for Merrill Lynch as a financial advisor, and post MBA, I worked for Brown Brothers Harriman as an associate in the Institutional Asset Management Group and Sanford C. Bernstein as a Vice President, Director of Consultant Relations.
I have been a New Yorker since 1997, an owner of real estate since 1998 and a real estate investor since 2003. I have lived downtown, on the Upper West Side and currently reside in a townhouse in Harlem with my wife Rite.
Commodore Property Group's goal is to bring discipline and professionalism to the tasks of buying, selling and marketing real estate. By combining sales skills, marketing savvy and an analytical tool-set, we seek to understand our clients’ needs, minimize their stress, and maximize their returns.
We specialize in New York City real estate, with a primary focus on Manhattan and Brooklyn. We help our clients buy and sell condos, coops and townhouses. Our work includes investment properties, first time buyers and FHA condo purchases. We also have the ability to form investment syndicates, raise equity, and consult on real estate projects.
