About Us:
Ryan and Krystn were born and raised in the small town of Ojai, CA. Nestled in the beautiful mountains of the Ojai Valley, the city of Ojai is typical for the close community, everybody-knows-everybody atmosphere. Interestingly enough, though they shared many of the same friends, Ryan and Krystn did not actually meet until they were adults. Ryan says he knew the moment they met there was something "special about her". They became friends and in the summer of 2002 they began dating.
In September 2005, infront of 200 relatives and friends, the couple married. It was picture perfect with a horse and carriage and a breathtaking sunset. A storybook wedding was only the beginning of what Ryan and his new bride considered a life changing experience. Like most newlyweds, they felt prepared for whatever obstacles life would present. But with the constant hurried pace of California, and the dream of someday having a wonderful place to raise their own family, Ryan and Krystn decided to make a sacrifice that would eventually be the best decision they ever made.
On a night in the spring of 2006, with a world of opportunity at their fingertips, the couple decided to leave California in an effort to find that "wonderful place". Middle Tennessee was the destination and although leaving everyone they loved behind was difficult, they knew they would be paving the way to a better life, and more opportunity for the family they would one day have.
In October of 2006, Ryan and Krystn bought their home in Murfreesboro and it has been a whirlwind ever since. Ryan started his business with Master Plan Realty and sold over 1.5 million in the first five months. Without a sphere of influence of friends and family to help promote him, he knew he would have to work even harder to stand apart from the crowd.
"It was important to me not only to obtain clients through listings and marketing to buyers, but also I wanted to be efficient enough that my clients would feel comfortable referring their family and friends to me in the future. Whether I was out doorknocking or sitting at a kitchen table doing a listing presentation, I knew I needed show up with the best marketing proposal in town."
In June of 2007, Krystn decided to leave her current job and obtained a Real Estate license to help Ryan further maintain his business.
"It was amazing to see him out there everyday, knocking on doors, walking neighborhoods, knowing that nine times out of ten, people either weren't ready to list, or they already knew someone else who was a Realtor. But he never complained. He just woke up again the next day and did it again. And then after only a few months, his phone started to ring. It was like planting a seed and watching it grow. I realized then that his business was only going to continue to grow and that he could be twice as efficient if I were available to help him. So here we are, working together and everyday he amazes me more and more."
With an already established business under their belt, Ryan and Krystn are able to encourage one another, and maintain balance between their business and their other activities. Between Real Estate, church functions, softball and a baby on the way, there is still so much to accomplish.
