About 25 years ago I moved to Kenilworth, IL from Los Angeles.  It was a HUGE change for me - the only snow I had ever seen was on a ski slope.  But that famous Midwestern hospitality was all it took for me to feel right at home very quickly.  Wonderful neighbors, picnics, Fourth of July block parties, holiday caroling, and outdoor concerts were just a few things I was introduced to.

Over the years I have lived in Kenilworth, Wilmette, and currently in Winnetka.  These lovely North Shore suburbs are just a short commute to downtown Chicago via the North Line train or the expressway.  We have top-rated schools, forest preserves, outdoor spaces, good shopping and eating, and best of all, the beaches of Lake Michigan.
