Real Estate Broker, Property Manager, and Real Estate Investment Advisor with over a decade of experience helping First Time & Experienced Buyers, Sellers, and Landlords in Hampton Roads.

My History and Background

As a graduate of Southern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Science in Adult Education and HR Management, I enjoy helping others.  After serving in the US Navy for eight years, I spent a decade in Information Technology Management for franchise systems, building two brands from obscurity to common household names.  During a time of personal economic downturn, the mere fact that I owned rental properties afforded me options that otherwise would not have existed.  I wanted to help others understand the strategic value of owning real estate beyond their primary residence as a way to bring more options to the table.  So, in 2003, I returned to the real estate profession and Several years later, I obtained my Broker license.  I have concentrated on property management for absentee landlords and investors.  Additionally, I maintain a personal inventory of sale listings, often past clients I represented when they purchased the property. I enjoy my work with first time buyers and people relocating to the Hampton Roads area also.

In 2007, I joined Exit Realty once he understood the significant advantages the brand offers for agents and the clients they represent.  I continued building his personal rental portfolio as well as assisting others who need professional property management.  I also taught others how to create a path to wealth with residential rental properties.

In addition to representing the owners of properties he manages, I enjoys putting my marketing experience to work for sellers with property in Hampton Roads.  When it comes to representing buyers, past clients tell me I excel.  I have personally rehabbed properties from a simple updating to major renovations.  Once I have a good understanding of what a buyers' goals are, I am able to put my database search skills to work to locate the perfect property, whether it's their first house or investment property or their twenty-first.
