About my service:
I have over 20 years in residential construction which gives me the ability to know when something is a problem. Even more, it gives me the ability to know when something is not a problem. Too many inexperienced inspectors will make minor issues appear to be a major problem so they sound important. I do my best to put all issues in their proper perspective.
I have been on both sides of the fence. I am familiar with construction and customer service so I have seen how things are supposed to be done and the kind of things that cause problems and how they are resolved. I have also been involved with the sales side of real estate. As a Project Manager, I was also the Sales Manager. I understand the efforts required in real estate sales and how to deal with customers. That gives me the ability to explain problems in a way that informs the customer without scaring them.
I beleive the customer wants to know what the problems are and what needs to be done to resolve them. If it is a big problem, they want to know that. But knowing how an issue can be resolved can make the difference between walking away from a home over a problem and feeling comfortable with completing the purchase and making the repair.
