As of November 2007, I joined Desert Ranch Realty in Apple Valley and am now concentrating on learning the sales end of the industry. I have been active in the industry since 1991 and have been licensed since 1995. In my early years I worked as an escrow secretary, foreclosure secretary and originator, and have working the Reverse Mortgage market since 2004. I have also been a Notary Signing Agent for over 13 years and also spent time as a Customer Service Manager for a national document signing company. I have been doing BPOs consistently since November 2007 (having got my feet wet doing them earlier in the year). I am looking forward to learning this end of the REO business and am working on paying my dues and working my way up.

Back in November 2004, my husband and I were wondering where we going to get the money to make the neccessary repairs that our house desperately needed. Our only income was Social Security and we were struggling with everyday expenses, heaven forbid if any car repairs or unexpected expenses came along. I had heard about Reverse Mortgages but hadn't really checked into it unti I met Catherine Beers at a Chamber of Commerce morning coffee meeting.  She was a speaker at one of the meetings. She explained how reverse mortgages worked so I then approached her and said that we were interested in getting a loan, what did we need to do.  Catherine came to our house and filled out paperwork to get our loan started.  She has been so helpful in everything that needed to be done. it took about 6 weeks for the loan to finalize, thanks to Catherine; she kept right on top of everything. I would call her and she was always available. To this day she still helps whenever I have a question or need something done. She is a wonderful helpful young lady who does that she can to help with the loan process.  I would and do recommend her to anybody that is considering a reverse mortgage.
