" I am pleased to extend and share my experience about Glastonbury Home Staging. I contacted Rhonda Rawlins about staging my house in Avon, CT which was on the market for sale. She responded immediately and was very professional and pleasant to work with. She was very patient and explained everything to me. Not only did Rhonda use perfect pieces for my house, making it look beautiful and inviting, but she stayed within budget! I was very impressed with the effort Rhonda made to meet all of my needs. Although I live out of state and was unable to meet with Rhonda personally she always went out her way for me and made sure everything was taken care of from the delivery of furniture to the pick up. Rhonda provided me with excellent service and made me feel completely comfortable. She is not only a professional and extremely good at what she does but she sincerely cared about me and my situation. If you need your house staged I highly recommend Rhonda Rawlins at Glastonbury Home Staging. She did an excellent job for me and I am sure you will be as happy as I am. Barbara Mathues, Broker/Owner Realty World Hometown, Simsbury, CT hired Rhonda as a Home Stager in 2007
Our house was large (almost 6,000 sqft including a finished walkout suite) empty, and white! white, walls, and large white marble tiles in every room in the main level with very ornate lighting fixtures. Even though we had many showings with serious buyers for months. We only had comments like it's cold. It feels like a hotel lobby and ballroom. Rhonda Rawlins, Owner of Glastonbury Home Staging brought in beautiful furniture, rugs, artwork, plants, decorative accents and turned it into a warm and welcoming home. Just 2 days after she finished staging it we had multiple offers!! She completely transformed the space! Rhonda is clearly passionate about her work. She has a friendly, relaxed manner and great design skills. She was totally committed to her work and went above and beyond our expectations. I thoroughly enjoyed working with her and will highly recommend her services. I had originally dreaded getting the house ready for sale, but working with Rhonda was a lot of fun. In fact I have already asked her to help us stage our new nearby home! - Russell Negre, South Windsor, CT
Rhonda, When my dad died last fall, I had to fly from Colorado to Connecticut to take care of his estate. Of course, this was an emotional time for me, I emptied his condo and listed it with a local realtor. After months on the market without offers, I felt I need to get some help with this sale. I knew about staging and how effective it can be. I found you on the internet. When we spoke I felt comfortable knowing that you understood my situation and would help get things moving. When you called after your visit to the condo you gave me honest feedback and outlined what needed to be done to get it sold. I felt confident telling you to use your best judgement and to do what you felt was necessary. You had the unit, painted, brought in new lighting fixtures and faucets, had carpets cleaned, as well as the duct work. Then you brought in furniture and accessories. The photos you emailed to be looked great. You asked the listing agent to arrange a broker's open house. Four days later we had a contract. Thank you so much for handling all these things for me and for being sensitive to my loss. Lisa S. Enfield, CT
I first contacted Rhonda Rawlins, owner of Glastonbury Home Staging, South Glastonbury, CT, when one of my listings was not showing as well as I knew that it could if it were staged. I am a big believer in staging and this house needed staging. My listing was a beautiful high-end home that was vacant. Buyers were just not connecting with the house. Because it was vacant they objected to the flooring, the lighting and commenting that it just left them feeling cold.
After our first meeting I felt confident in introducing her to my client. Her enthusiasm, knowledge and creative ideas impressed the homeowner and he immediately understood the value she would bring to marketing his home. She coordinated furniture leasing and supplemented with beautiful artwork, dishes, and accessories. Two days after staging was completed, the house was under contract! The homeowner was thrilled, and, in fact, he has since called Rhonda to help with color and furniture selections in his new home.
I have worked with Rhonda on several projects with great success, since that first house and she has consistently delivered outstanding results. I consider her a part of my team. We have forged a wonderful partnership. Rhonda's passion for her profession is evident in her enthusiasm, creativity, and resourcefulness. This is not a hobby or part-time job for her, staging is her profession.
Rhonda, Just a quick note to thank you and your sister for all of your help during our recent staging. Your energy, enthusiasm and ideas gave us a positive outlook on the sale of our home. Your professionalism was outstanding. You were able to present ideas to us, while keeping our tastes in mind and listening to our comments. Thank you again for a job well done.
