Our home had been previously listed with another agency that had not provided the service we were promised. At the expiration of our contract, we interviewed several brokers, but had trouble establishing any bond of trust - based primarily on our previous experience. In the summer of 2006 I had the chance to work with Richard Beal in our search for a home in Maine. We (I and my wife) met him at an open house event and, after few discussions, we asked him to help us find a home.  I grew up in a different country, in a different culture, where writing recommendations, thank you notes, thank you for your thanks notes, etc. is not a common practice; so I not used to it. In September, I accidentally submitted a request for more information on a property listed on NewEnglandMoves.com.  My intention was to contact the listing agent for more information, not find a real estate agent for myself and husband.  In less than fifteen minutes of clicking submit on the website, my phone was ringing and I was speaking with Richard Beal of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage.
