I grew up in a construction family and have always been fascinated with building, remodelling, and restoration of our communities.  My experience spans several fields including law office management, sales administration, insurance, and banking.  For several years I put my artistic side to work and operated an interior painting/wallpapering company in Brookings, South Dakota.  My interests and experience have led me in one way or another to the real estate field. 

In the past several years that I have been in Sioux Falls I have formed many good working relationships with lenders, inspectors, contractors and tradesmen.  I consider each of them an integral part of my team.  Whatever the need of my client, I can call on these people to make things work.  By utilizing the benefits of these relationships I can provide my client the most comprehensive service.

FIRST TIME HOMEBUYERS - Probably the most rewarding of all.  Usually young couples or families just starting out need someone to guide them through the process.  I enjoy assisting them from start to finish.  They may need assistance in finding a mortgage, how to clear up credit issues, to explaining the ins and outs of homeownership.

FIXER-UPPERS, FLIPPERS, & INVESTMENT PROPERTIES - I monitor all listings within a 20 mile radius of Sioux Falls for properties under $100,000.  Many are distressed properties, but once in awhile a good deal comes around that doesn't require much work.  I always have an eye out for that diamond in the rough and enjoy working with people who want a good deal, be able to build quick equity, or make a little rental income. 

I do market research and price opinions for valuation companies monitoring their clients' interest in area properties.  This keeps me well informed on what the market is doing in our area.  I am travelling to small communities in the area often and up on trends there as well as in Sioux Falls.  My market area is Minnehaha, Lincoln, Turner, and McCook Counties.
