About me
Ricky Khamis was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. After four years with the 82nd Airborne Division, stationed at Fort Bragg North Carolina, he decided to return to his home state, start a family and a career in the business world. Ricky began his career in the mortgage industry in 1999. He quickly moved up the ranks and opened his own branch office under Great Southwest Mortgage. Because of his business savvy and true desire to help people he earned a Certified Mortgage Planning Specialist designation. This proved instrumental to his success, at a time when some loan officers in the industry were approving loans with less discretion, Ricky was ensuring that his clientele were truly prepared for their new debt. CMPS originators embrace the highest levels of integrity and possess a greater degree of financial knowledge and expertise related to tax and financial planning and real estate investment strategies. Therefore, as a CMPS professional he can better advise you when it comes to:

Ricky has ranked among the top 10% of his loan officer peers throughout his career due to the unyielding desire to help families own a home, and successfully manage that obligation to build long term stability and wealth. He has managed and coached dozens of loan officers and support staff and continued to produce at the highest levels, earning a spot as Platinum Producer, an honor reserved for only a few in his previous company. In addition to his CMPS designation, which requires 40 hours of continuing education each year to stay in tune with the changes in federal and state law, taxation and financial planning, he has also obtained his life and health Insurance license in order to better understand his client's overall financial needs. In 2008, Ricky made the decision to join the NOVA Home Loans team following the "mortgage meltdown". There he found similar success minded, passionate professionals who find great fulfillment in providing exceptional service and the most extensive array of loan programs in the market.
About My Family
I am married with 5 children, my wife DeShawn is without a doubt the love of my life and a major reason I do what I do. DeShawn came to the marriage with two beautiful children Jalen who is now 14 and a star athlete in baseball and Aryana who is 11 going on 20! on the #1 Cheer squad in the state of Arizona, she by the way is #1 on the team. I came to the marriage with one beautiful baby boy Austin who is a Black Belt in Kenpo karate with numerous 1st place trophies from competitions around the country and is also 11. Her and I brought the family together with 2 baby boys, Drake who is 6 and Kaden who is 4. We love to travel to new exciting places, but our favorite is Walt Disney World in Florida.
