- Description
- A Realtor since 1980, I am now the Manager of our Lindsay office, serving Lindsay, Peterborough, rural and waterfront properties in all of the Kawartha Lakes area of central Ontario.
Things I have Learned.
Use this section to write about yourself - don't be shy - Why should a buyer or seller want to work with you? Do you have any certifications and qualifications? What sets you apart from other agents/loan officers?
I have particularly enjoyed showing and selling waterfront properties over the years, and have become pretty familiar with all of our lakes and rivers. I can show you how one lake changes from marsh at one end to Canadian Shield granite at the other (Pigeon Lake), a lake that is man made and full of stumps (Mitchell), a river with a current so strong that a shoe accidentally dropped into the water disappears around the bend in an instant (Gull River). I know where to see spectacular sunsets (Snug Harbour) and equally gorgeous sunrises (West Bay). I can show you sandy beaches where you can wade out a great distance (Sandy Lake), and shorelines that drop off instantly to great depths (Stoney Lake). I once had a prospect decide to buy a cottage because of the bass that lurked under the dock we were standing on. He later won trophies for the Muskelunge he was able to land.
Why Me?
Use this section to write about your specific areas of expertise. Do you specialize in first time buyers - listing high end homes - etc. Are there specific market area's that you specialize in? The more you write about your area's of expertise the more knowledgeable you'll sound to a potential buyer or seller.
Having a farm background is a big asset when it comes to rural properties, and I have plenty of experience in mixed agriculture and Dairy farming. When you see me pick up a handful of soil, it is not just to feel the dirt running through my fingers;it tells me what that soil will grow and how early it will cultivate. Where are the best streaks of loam, and where is the ranchland? Just ask, and I will take you there. Totally unrelated, I have spent much of my time in the last few years selling property for banks and trust companies, under Power of Sale. Some are really good houses, and some are total disasters. If you would like to know about these sales as they hit the market, I will be happy to add you to my contact list.
Do you have any good testimonials that clients have provided you in the past? Be sure to add them here.
