Robert Bass is a Phoenix-based real estate attorney of almost 30 years experience. A former Administrative Law Judge for the Arizona Department of Real Estate, his private law practice concentrates in defending real estate licensees in Errors & Omissions claims and litigation, and representing licensees in application denial and consumer complaint cases before the Arizona Department of Real Estate.
Robert is a nationally known educator and consultant in the area of broker liability and risk reduction for real estate licensees. He has been awarded the coveted "AV" Rating by the prestigious Martindale-Hubble legal directory, which means the lawyer's professional peers rank him at the highest level of professional excellence.
Although he is not a real estate licensee, Robert has maintained an active interest in industry issues. He has been a Member of the National and Arizona Associations of REALTORS, and served as a Large Firm National Director of N.A.R. He was appointed to the prestigious N.A.R. Risk Management Committee in his first year as a REALTOR, and served as a State Director of A.A.R. He has served on the A.A.R. Contract Forms Committee and Agency Law Task Force.
Robert is also a Past-President of the Arizona Real Estate Educators Association and served on the Board of Directors of the Hispanic Association of Real Estate Professionals. He has also served as in-house legal counsel for Dan Schwartz Realty, Inc. (1,700 agents) and for HomeSmart, the largest brokerage company in the Southwest.
