About Rob
I am originally from Connecticut, but have been residing in Roanoke since graduating from Roanoke College in 1990. My previous business experience was in the book business, most recently as founder and past president of an independent book shop located in Downtown Roanoke. In 2004 I sold the business and started my current career as a REALTOR® with MKB, REALTORS.
I am very fond of Roanoke and its surrounding counties. I particularly enjoy the area's scenic and natural beauty. Roanoke is such a unique place because you can enjoy the urban aspects of its downtown and then drive minutes away and find oneself in proximity of the Appalachian Trail and the Blue Ridge Parkway. How many places can you find like that these days ?
Interesting architecture and topography, low cost of living and some of the friendliest people you will ever know. These are all attributes that always make me feel so much at home in Roanoke.
