About Us:

Rooms in Bloom Home Staging & Design is a professional Home Staging company based out of Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario. The business started early in 2008 due to a strong realtor demand and has grown in leaps and bounds since then! Rooms in Bloom is co-owned by Alana Merritt and Heather Cook. Alana has years of experience in interior decorating and is well known for her superb taste in home decor merchandise. She is the driving force behind Rooms in Bloom's stunning inventory of home decor accessories which range from art work, florals, bedding, table centerpieces, contemporary accents and more. Her innate sense of style is reflected in the details of all Rooms in Bloom's designs. Alana is also a proud graduate of Debra Gould's Staging Diva program and an accredited home stager.

Heather Cook complements Alana's interior decorating experience with over a decade of interior decorating and design training and experience. She has taken courses in colour and interior decorating, floral design, room layout & design as well as Debra Gould's Staging Diva home staging course. Heather has an innate sense of design, balance and style which is reflected in Rooms in Bloom's designs as well as in the 3D Virtual Designs she creates for their clients. She is also very computer savvy and is responsible for the monthly newsletter, the Facebook Fan Page, all of the blogging and the creative design behind the website.

Both Heather & Alana believe strongly in what they do and know that home staging is a powerful tool which takes the stress out of the selling process for both home owners and realtors alike. They partner with many local realtors on a regular basis and are also expanding their services to include designing and furnishing model homes for builders.
