We primarily serve clients in the communities of Portland, Tigard, Tualatin, Wilsonville, Beaverton, Aloha, Hillsboro, West Linn, Lake Oswego, Milwaukie, Clackamas, Oregon City & Happy Valley. For clients located outside of our service area, we are happy to provide E-staging services or a referral to a qualified staging professional in your area.
Home Staging Services Offered To Homeowners & Investors
- Full or Partial Home Staging Service: We can stage a Vacant home with Full or Partial staging using our extensive inventory of quality furnishings. We can also stage an Occupied home - working with and editing the seller's furniture, and providing any additional accessories that may be necessary to create the "Wow" factor. These staging services also include quality digital photos that can be used in the online listing or in marketing materials. The investment in these services depends on the size of the property, the number of rooms staged and whether accessories are included or not. Because every project is unique, we're happy to provide a no-obligation staging proposal for your property.
- Walk through Verbal Consultation: This service is geared towards the homeowner (or Listing Agent who'd like to purchase this service for their clients) in an Occupied or Vacant home. We walk through the property with the homeowner or listing agent while you take notes of our recommendations for cosmetic repairs, light fixture replacements, curb appeal enhancements, interior & exterior paint colors, creating focal points, proper furniture placement, etc. We also provide written tips for preparing for the Open House and keeping your home ready for showings. Up to 2 hours of time; within 20 miles of SW Portland ~ $150.
- Comprehensive Written Consultation Report: We provide a detailed written Consultation Report that includes specific guidelines for both the Interior & Exterior of your occupied home. Your custom 8-10 page report will include suggestions & advice on paint colors, minor repairs, cosmetic improvements, optimum furniture placement, how to prepare for an Open House, the importance of cleaning and de-cluttering, tips for creating curb appeal, and how to make the best first impression on potential buyers. The cost of this detailed report is .12/sq ft with a $250 minimum. If you later decide to have us return and stage the home, we will credit a portion of its cost to the staging fee.
- Electronic Consultation (E-Staging): If your property is located outside our service area, we can provide a detailed Comprehensive Consultation Report. Using photos and room dimensions you provide, we will advise you on which pieces of furniture to keep, which to remove, and how to showcase the space for maximum appeal. The cost of this service is $200 to $250.
- Full Day or Half Day Home Makeover (ReDesign) Projects: If you'd like a fresher look in your home or just don't know how to best configure the furniture, our home makeover service may be just what you need. This service is much less expensive than hiring a traditional interior decorator, and very effective! We can help you make your home warm and inviting, and can also suggest where to buy the best accessories (or we can do the shopping for you). Pricing starts at $500 for 2 experienced Redesigners for 4 hours; a no-obligation quotation can be provided - just give us a call.
- Staging Offices, Reception Areas, Waiting Rooms & Small Businesses: All properties – including commercial offices – can benefit from staging. We'll assess your place of business from the perspective of a customer, then advise you on what changes should be made to create a more inviting and professional look and feel.
- Furnishings Rental: Our extensive inventory of furnishings is available for rental in staged properties. This includes a wide variety of quality furniture, area rugs, lamps, artwork and wall decor, linens, plants and trees, plus home décor accessories to suit many styles and tastes.
- Shopping Service: If you're too busy to shop for home décor, or aren't sure what's needed to improve the look of your home, we can do the shopping for you. Using our intimate knowledge of the local furnishings market, we can find the items you need (often at bargain prices), deliver them to your home and properly arrange them to fit the space. Billed at $50.00/hr.

About Room Solutions Staging
Maureen Bray is an accredited and certified staging professional, a former real estate agent & property manager, and a talented interior decorator. As the owner of Room Solutions Staging, she draws upon all of those skills and experiences to advise her clients and provide them with the staging solutions necessary to be successful in any real estate market.
Maureen got her start by buying, staging and selling investment properties of her own in the Portland area. After moving to Ireland, she established an award-winning Bed & Breakfast in the countryside of County Limerick — where she lived and worked for eight years. During this time she also took on several major staging and design projects for various international clients, including the University of Limerick.
Maureen moved back to the U.S. to serve as the general manager of Stanford University's private hotel in Palo Alto CA, then subsequently returned to Portland to be closer to her family and to establish Room Solutions Staging LLC in 2006.
Maureen is an accredited (ASP) and certified staging professional (CSP) and was elected 2008-09 VP Membership for the Portland chapter of RESA (Real Estate Staging Association). She's also a Board member of the Portland chapter of the American Society of Home Stagers & Redesigners (ASHSR). Maureen has also served as the Moderator of Stage It Forward, part of a national network of professional home stagers.
