I began my "virtual" career in 1996 doing transcription work for California-based private investigators. After my family and I move to Idaho in 1999, I returned to onsite employment as a personal assistant to a commercial real estate developer. I later transitioned over to work for a commercial and residential broker.
With five kids at home, four of which were teenagers, I felt the urge to work from home again. I investigated virtual employment opportunities. I soon discovered Team Double-Clickâ and started off doing transcription work for several of the company's clients. Before long, I had gained five clients and expanded my responsibilities into the real estate investing industry providing administrative support. In so doing, one of my clients was able to leave his full-time job within 3 months of us working together and turned his part-time investing business into a full time, highly successful real estate investing company. In early 2005, I shifted gears, boosting my career into overdrive by becoming part of the Team Double-Clickâ Core Team. As a Virtual Staffing Consultant, I educate and empower current and prospective clients on the benefits of having an extra set of hands, eyes and ears.
