Who Is Rob?
Rob Ross is a senior loan officer with close to 10 years in the mortgage industry. During this time, Rob cultivated elite partnerships with several real estate firms, builders, and condo developers. In 2004, Rob formed “The Ross Group,” a team of dedicated loan officers to better serve his expanding clientele. Rob and his team originate residential loans throughout the entire Washington, DC metro area and assist anyone from the first time homebuyer to the avid real estate investor. Rob is also an expert in the local condo market and was the preferred lender on over 20 projects with over 450 units combined.
The Ross Group’s forte is creating a smooth loan process from start to finish while providing abundant and helpful information. It is the Ross Group’s goal to be sure every client feels confident and more educated when each transaction is complete.

My Bio:
Rob Ross is a Senior Loan Officer at Potomac Mortgage Group, LLC based out of Reston, VA. Rob has been a top producer in the mortgage industry for over 9 years and formed “The Ross Group” in 2004 to better serve his expanding clientele. He is responsible for managing and closing over Fifty Million in annual loan volume for both purchasing and refinancing of residential real estate.
Rob is not only focused and dedicated to his career as a mortgage banker but also to his family. He currently resides in Herndon, VA with his wife of 3 years, JoLaine Ross, and his son Robert N. Ross III (Robbie) who is 2.5. He enjoys the weekends with his family and taking quick trips to sporting events and many other seasonal and festive activities.
Rob and his team have closed over Four Hundred Million in home loans, which has consisted of over 1500 individual transactions. The Ross Group’s forte is creating a smooth loan process from start to finish while providing abundant and helpful information. It is the Ross Group’s goal is to be sure every client feels confident and more educated when each transaction is complete.

Before the launch of Potomac Mortgage Group, LLC in 2009 Rob was a Senior Loan Officer with George Mason Mortgage, LLC based out of Fairfax, VA for 8 years. The Ross Group was consistently in the top 5 producing teams within the company, which was ranked in the top 3 in the DC metro area since 1999. Prior to working as a Senior Loan Officer, Rob worked for NVR Ryan Homes in Gainesville, VA as a Production Manager. He worked with Ryan Homes for a year after graduating with a BS in Finance from West Virginia University in 2001.
