Happy with the current market? I know that things are tough all over. I am optimistic but not a "PollyAnna". I practice my real estate craft in the heart of Chicago. I am currently working with buyers who are looking for good solid value. My sales this year have been mostly in Chicago's Gold Coast neighborhood and Streeterville. It's a challenge to get buyers through the mortgage process, but my buyers are solid. While there have been a few more hoops to jump through, they all made it to closing. Yes, there is more scrutinizing than usual. No one complained. Everyone had the same goals, please the underwriters, get my new home! It helps that I know the inventory of homes very well. I specialize in The Gold Coast, Streeterville,  Lincoln Park, Bucktown, Wicker Park, Lakeview and South Loop neighborhoods.I live in The Gold Coast and am a member of the Gold Coast Neighbors Association. I am also a member of SOAR which is an organization that works to keep the Streeterville neighborhood growth in the best direction for the quality of the community. I sell mostly condos but I have sold luxury single family homes as well.  My experiences with first time buyers has been very rewarding. My experience with buyers who are relocating to Chicago has been very successful. I truly enjoy introducing our neighborhoods to newcomers. I am also very knowledgeable in the luxury condo market.
