Realtor, Southbury, CT - Ruth Zeiss
I have 30+ years of sales experience selling everything from luggage in Miami and Beverly Hills to raw stainless steel materials in New England. My ability to understand my client's needs have made me a top producer wherever I've worked. My promise, to make your real estate transaction as seamless as possible, is what drives me as an agent whether I represent you as a seller or a buyer. Read what my clients had to say about the service they received. Maybe it's because I provide each of my clients with the same concierge level of service, no matter the size of their transaction, that makes them comfortable introducing me to their family and friends who require assistance buying, selling, or leasing real estate.
To get the job done I think creatively and am not afraid to try new technologies and philosophies. I hate waiting all day for responses to my inquiries, don't you? To avoid this dilemma, all my emails as well as messages left on my office voice mail are re-routed directly to my cell phone so you don't have to wait all day.
Looking for an agent that knows the area? I've lived in the Northwest corner for most of my adult life in addition to servicing business to business accounts all over the state while selling stainless steel raw materials. I can make suggestions on where to shop, where to eat, and what kinds of interesting things there are to do in the area. Want to explore the towns in the greater Southbury area? They're just a click away.
With my background in decorating & staging, I can assist sellers with the daunting task of readying their house for showings - it's all about the flow & the buyer's ability to see their things in the seller's home. For buyers, I can work up floor plans for a beautiful but architecturally challenging room or make suggestions for turning negatives into a perfect home. Best of all, it doesn't have to cost a lot to make your rooms look new. My specialty is working with what you own first, and then, if necessary, helping to chose that one focal piece to make your home seem new and your friends and family say "WOW"!
Of course, it does make my job a little easier having the umbrella of services and technologies available to me through Prudential CT Realty. That's way I affiliated with them - because they help me help you.
Please feel free to call or text me at (347) 556-0014, email me at ruthzeiss@prudentialct.com, or visit my website http://ruthzeiss.prudentialct.com. I can't wait to work with you.

The Greater Southbury, CT Region
Did you know that Southbury, CT is the only town in the country with the name Southbury? The name Southbury is as unique as the approximately 20,000 residents who live here. Founded in 1673 and incorporated in 1787, the town was originally called Pomperaug Plantation. Located just 83 miles from New York City, and equidistant between Danbury and Waterbury, with easy access to I-84, Southbury is truly a top commuter location.
Of the 20,000 residents who call Southbury home, 4000 live in the 1000 acre community of Heritage Village, one of the original 55+ communities. With 96 different clubs, even the pickiest senior can find something to pique their curiousity. Are you at the other end of the spectrum with youngsters in school? Southbury and the neighboring town of Middlebury comprise the Region 15 School District which provides a comprehensive program designed to educate students with a variety of needs and interests in grades 9 through 12. Middlebury is also home to Westover School, a private all girls' day and boarding school while Watertown has been home to Taft School, a prestigious coeducational private school, since 1890. When school is out, Southbury Parks and Recreation sponsers summer camps, swimming, sports camps, and other enrichment classes that are attended by about 1000 area children. In fact, no town in the area has more parks devoted to the enjoyment of its citizenry than Southbury.
If you are looking for traditional New England, look no further than the Greater Southbury region with its bustling town greens, vintage homes and antique stores. Take exit 15 on I-84 for a journey through the reknowned CT Antiques Trail to visit shops like The Mill House which is often featured in Architectural Digest. If shopping makes you hungry, there's plenty to eat whether your tastes run to a dog and fries at Denmo's, homestyle cooking at Dotty's, or something romantic for two at John's Cafe, The Longwood Inn, or any number of other mouth watering choices.
There's so much to see and do in Southbury, that you'll just have to move here to experience it all and when you are ready to do that, please call or text me at (347) 556-0014, email me at ruthzeiss@prudentialct.com, or visit my website at http://ruthzeiss.prudentialct.com.
