A Senior Mortgage Loan Officer for SWBC, my specialties are FTHB, FSBO Marketing, and FHA/VA/Conventional Mortgages.

My name is Brad Dawson, a mortgage loan officer, residing in San Antonio, Texas.  I am licensed to originate mortgages in all of Texas, NMLS#635442.  I grew up in Alice, located in Deep South Texas. GO COYOTES!  In 1998, I received a BBA in Accounting from Texas State University.  My professional career has been in the personal finance arena, ranging from larger national banks, a community credit union, and currently a mortgage bank.  A majority of my career in financial services has revolved around the sale, processing, underwriting, closing and funding of mortgages.

My vast experience in each of these areas has taught me a lot about the industry and the overall process of securing a mortgage.  And I have also learned, through much trial and error, the frustrations that borrowers and interested agents have with the mortgage process.  It is my fiduciary duty to dissolve these perceptions, and to make the mortgage process an enjoyable experience for all parties involved.

My career in the consumer finance arena has instilled in me value system that revolvles around integrity, trust, commitment, excellence and service.  This value system is exactly what brought me to SWBC, simply the best mortgage bank in San Antonio. The financial strength of SWBC, along with the integrity of the owners and officers, was a very big enticement for us. SWBC gives us the ability to select from a wide variety of loan products and then originate, process, underwrite, close, and fund a loan all within SWBC. It is a great service to our clients and supports our philosophy, which is that we can’t have what we want until we help others get what they want. I’m excited to be a branch manager for a great company, and I’m optimistic about participating in the growth of the San Antonio housing market.

I believe the success of my business revolves around the ability to have mutiple channels of lead production.  I have extensive knowledge in areas on online marketing to generate buyer and refinance leads through web marketing and social media.  I sponsor a property listing/marketing website that has proven to be a an invaluable resource for my Realtor partners.   This sponsorship brings me multiple buyer leads and enhances my relationships with Realtor referral partners I have a proven effective direct marketing campaign including mailers, call-outs, and event marketing.   I am also seeking to create a new chapter of BNI, the most successful networking group in the country.
