Description
Agent:Buyer's Broker. Dedicate my professional skills to helping buyers find the right home at the best possible price and bring the transaction to a successful close.

I am an Oregonian through and through.  Although I was born in San Jose Ca, my parents moved to Oregon when I was 1.5 years of age and except for a small period of time when I lived in Santa Rosa CA, the majority of my life has been in Oregon.  For the most part I grew up in St. Helens and went to school there through my sophomore year.  My dad was a boiler maker and his work required him to move around so I attended three high schools, including St. Helens, Clatskanie and I graduated from Redmond High in Central Oregon.  I met my husband in Redmond and we were married in 1980.  After we married, we lived in several different locations (due to his work)  including Medford, Santa Rosa CA for (a short time), Lebanon, Aurora and St. Paul.  Although we lived in St. Paul we worked in Newberg and our daughter attended school in Newberg where she graduated in 1999.  We moved into Newberg in 2000.  Since I have lived in so many different locations throughout my life, I feel I have an insight into the different areas of Oregon as well as an understanding of what it involves to both purchase and sell a home. It is a huge decision and it is not to be taken lightly.  I am not a pushy realtor but rather tend to work with people over a long period of time, allowing clients to make absolutely sure the decision they are making is the right one for them and one they will not regret.  The occasional quick sale is nice, but I am willing to put the time and effort in for the "long haul" as well.

My area of expertise would be in New Home Construction.  My husband has owned a New Home Construction business called Mitchell Homes since 1989.  I have worked with him side by side in every aspect of that business from sitting down with clients to determine what their dream home is, through the entire building process to the very end where they are handed the keys.  I enjoy watching them make a house a home and our business relationship becoming a friendship.  We live in a neighborhood among 37 homes we built.

I decided to pursue getting my real estate license in order to be able to expand the enjoyment I receive from helping people obtain their goals of home ownership, whether that be a first home or a tenth home.  I am allowed to work with all kinds of clients.  It has given me the ability to get to know people from every walk and stage of life, from a first time home buyer, a senior citizen downsizing into their retirement home, or people moving up into a bigger more expensive home.  I enjoy getting to know people and growing new friendships.  Being an real estate agent allows me to do that everyday.

Testimony from my clients

Ben and I have been so blessed to have you as our realtor. You were the only realtor that was so eager to show us homes with just a few minutes of notice, we didn't think to call ahead and set up a schedule but we were so grateful that you took the time off your busy schedule to show us around the area. Your knowledge with homes and the reality business is exceptional; we were very impressed and felt very comfortable. You landed us a home that fits us perfectly, we couldn't have asked for more! We thank you truly and hope that we will stay in touch, we will miss you!

Sincerely,

Ben and Victoria Murphy

Hi Sandy,

Thanks for all of your help in all of this, it couldn't have happened without you.  We truly are excited and are looking forward to moving in and start the landscaping and all of the neat things that come with home ownership. I must say that it was also a pleasure to work with Mart and with the people at Valley Mortgage. Caryn was wonderful in finding a loan that worked and brought this about so quickly. I will definitely recommend you all to future buyers.

We'll keep in touch with you and in the future if I decide to pursue a vocation in  real estate I would like to be able to ask you  for suggestions.

 Take care, Darla

When I first met you at the open house I liked you immediately and told Joe I think I've found the real estate woman I want to help us.   We were both very pleased with the service you provided and we feel lucky that you had a better background than most realestate agents.  In our case, buying a house that was in the process of being built,  your experience and  knowledge of new home construction was very helpful.   Thank you so much for your professionalism and patience in finding us the perfect home!   We will gladly recommend you to anyone  we know who is looking for a great real estate agent.   Sincerely, Bonnie & Joe Stewart
