Matt Desmond first arrived in Santa Fe in 1989. He joined Prudential Santa Fe Real Estate in September 2009. His volume of experience in the real estate industry in his first three years was greater than many real estate agents will experience in an entire career. For more than 2 1/2 years he was an assistant broker to one of Santa Fe's top Realtors. After participating in more than 100 transactions, and over 120 million dollars in closed sales, he and his partner Ryan Bolton started www.HomesinSantaFeNM.com and proudly  hang their licenses with Prudential Santa Fe Real Estate.

Prior to becoming a full-time real estate broker Matt was a licensed General Contractor. Though he no longer works in this capacity, his construction knowledge and his relationships with other builders and sub-contractors gives his customers a unique advantage when buying or selling a home. Matt also spent nearly 12 years working and managing two of Santa Fe's most exclusive restaurants. This experience has proved invaluable and is one of the many
reasons that he has higher standards in customer service.

Matt was born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma, graduated from Cascia Hall, and went on to a degree in Biology from Merrimack College in North Andover, Massachusetts. He is an elite triathlete and marathoner and continues to pursue these and other endurance sports as hobbies. The same tenacity and work ethic that have helped him excel as an athlete now carrying over to his clients and their transactions.
