About Us:

Raleigh Investment Real Estate is one of the most productive investment real estate brokerages in the Triangle. We sold more than $20 million worth of residential and commercial properties in 2007. We are very proud of the fact that the majority of our growth has been the result of referrals received through the strength of the relationships we have formed.

All of our brokers are also real estate investors, with more than 45 years of combined investment experience. We personally own many properties in the Triangle (Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill) and the surrounding areas. We have managed hundreds of properties through our affiliate firm, Raleigh Property Management.  Additionally, we formed Southern Oaks Realty specifically to help our clients find their own personal residences (http://www.southernoaksrealty.com).

We work as a team so that our clients get access to all of our substantial commercial and residential brokerage experience, our business expertise and our combine years of investment experience.  The members of our team are:

  • Laura McGoogan joined Raleigh Investment Real Estate as a broker in 2008. Laura came to us initially as an investor. With a background in engineering, she brings an analytical and systematic approach to analyzing property values, rental trends, and the property history to assist clients in their decision-making.
