Virginia beach Real Estate has not taken a nose dive, it is leveling off. The average detached home sale in February 2006 was $286,000 up almost $10,000 from February 2005 and $60,000 from February 2004 . We are not seeing the drastic rise in real estate sales that we had in the years past, but on average we are seeing a small rise. It is also worth noting that we have a lot of homes in our inventory, and the days on market have gone from days to months.
