Roberta LaRocca - REALTOR® Las Vegas Broker / Salesperson

I have lived in the Las Vegas area since 2003. I relocated my family here mainly because of the beautiful weather, but also for the opportunities and recreation. Las Vegas averages 289 sunny days per year with mild, short winter and two springs, the second replaces fall. As the entertainment capital of the world you have a wide variety of show, dining choices and cultures. Nevada offers tax advantages over most other states, and with today's home pricing, makes it an even more affordable place to live.
The outlying communities have activities for all ages, from infants to seniors, at the many recreation centers. These suburban neighborhoods are often considered to be a sharp contrast to the Vegas Strip, with everything from parks and trails to playgrounds, dog parks and sports complexes. Adding to that is Las Vegas is surrounded by federal land, much of it designated to conservation, natural habitats, and recreation areas. The massive Lake Mead offers fishing, boating and water sports both at the lake and on the Colorado River below Hoover Dam.
There has already been tremendous growth in just the years that I have been here, and it is a very exciting place to live and work. It is also a unique community because of the celebrities, entertainers and musicians that live in the valley that may become your neighbors and friends. Helping anyone who is interested in relocating to Las Vegas, either by finding a house to buy or rent is what I really enjoy doing. I can also help if you are looking for commercial or investment property.
When you visit my website, there are many useful tools for you to use. For your convenience, I have included an online buyer's survey to let me know your specific needs. There is no subscription necessary, so feel free to browse the site. My Specialties

My specialty is simple...it's my clients and their individual needs.
The Las Vegas Valley has such a wide assortment of homes, condos, and lifestyles to chose from, so I don't want to limit my clients to a community, area, or style of home. I've found that especially for those relocating to the Las Vegas Valley, they may not realize all the choices they have available to them.

Many visitors have seen the luxury high rise condominiums available on and around the Las Vegas Strip. There are others available off-strip that range from the luxury of One QueensRidge Place, to many mid and low rise complexes and lifestyle communities.
The choices continue with single family homes. There are many golf course communities found in the valley. Among those you also have selection, from luxury estates to tract homes, and some with age restrictions for an active adult lifestyle.
Golf not for you? Not to worry, they are plenty of other options. Everything from Equestrian estate communities to individual horse property, Lake Front and Lake View, Strip and mountain views, in community and city or county recreation centers, and so much more.
My focus, and the service I provide, centers on your individual needs. Everyone has their own preferences on what is important, and affordable, to them. From schools, to work, airport, family or shopping access, recreational convenience, and styles from luxury to privacy and more, all will depend on individual tastes.
If you explore my Las Vegas Real Estate Blog, or my Las Vegas PhotoShows, I try to give an overview of not only the selection of communities you can find around Las Vegas, but a feel for living in Las Vegas. Events, entertainment, and news of what is happening that may not make the headlines. As you'll see, there's much more found beyond the neon, making Las Vegas a great place to call home.

I also get asked "What is the difference between a Salesperson and a Broker Salesperson."
A Broker Salesperson has more educational and/or real estate business experience requirements, and has to pass the Nevada Broker's Exam. That is above the added 90 hours of specific training required. The college courses needed to be eligible include business, economics, management, accounting, finance, and marketing, in addition to another 37 general college level units. For me personally, my university course credits easily met those requirements.
The Broker Salesperson License and it's additional education requisites, combined with my years of business experience and ownership, add to the qualifications I offer my clients. I am also licensed for Property Managment in Las Vegas, and provide this additional service for homeowners and investors.
Testimonials
I don't think I could have a much better testimonial than what I've already posted in this blog entry. It explains why this nice surprise arrived at my office from one of my clients, and a wonderful family.
