About Us:
We met at Harding University (then Harding College) in Searcy in 1976 and were married in 1977. We celebrated 30 years of marriage on New Years Eve 2007. After finishing our undergraduate degrees, we moved to Atlanta, GA and then Dallas, TX. We had always loved Searcy, and decided in 1991 to move our family back to raise our boys there. It was by far the best decision we have ever made for our family. Both boys graduated from Harding and met and married their wives while there. We have one grandson who is 8 and three granddaughters 2 and under! One thing is for sure, we are SOLD on Searcy.
Areas of Expertise
Judy has a B.S. in Family and Consumer Science with a MEd. in Education with an emphasis in Interior Design. She has taught Visual Merchandising as well as Home Technology as an adjunct teacher at Harding University in recent years. She became a Realtor in 2001, and was chose as RE/MAX Rookie of the Year. Judy is currently the Executive Broker for the RE/MAX Beebe-Capps Branch. She has worked with many clients in visualizing what could be done and should NOT be done with a property they are considering purchasing. She has her CRS, GRI, ABR, NHCS and is currently working on her e-PRO designation. She works primarily with New Home listing and sales, Existing Home listing and sales, and Land. Judy is also certified with the IRAAA (Individual Retirement Account Association of America) organization which helps clients invest their retirement accounts in Real Estate, Mineral Deeds, and other non-traditional investments.
Phil also has experience in helping families transition to a new home and a new place. He was in Physician Recruiting for 13 years, and helped hundreds of physicians relocate to new areas across the country. In addition, he gained valuable experience in financing and mortgage banking while serving as a loan officer for Simmons First Bank in Searcy. He has a B.S. in Biology from Harding. Phil works with New Home sales and listings, Existing Home sales and listings, Commercial properties, and Land and Acreage. Phil also has experience with the Natural Gas Exploration in the White County, having worked with several companies and their families to relocate to the Searcy area, and with Investors wanting to purchase minerals. Phil became a Realtor in 2005.

Shanna and I were first time home buyers and really enjoyed our experience with the Hoggard Team.
