About Us:
Hi! I've made Squamish my home for the past 19 years and I've brought up 2 beautiful children in this great community. I always promote that Squamish is a great place to bring your children up in. We have 7 schools, a college, a private university and an amazing group of volunteers who give to the kids sporting events. We are nicknamed the "Outdoor recreation capital of Canada" and named so because of our location to the ocean, rivers and mountains. People come here to play in the great outdoors, kayak, kite-board, mountain bike, sail/boat, hike, climb...and so many stay to live. We are a short 35 min. drive to Whistler Ski resort to the North and 35 min. to Vancouver to the south (all home to the 2010 Olympics). Our community is diverse and talented...Squamish sells itself....I can show it to you!
