1. Give customer the whole picture-don’t just rattle off rates.

2.  Try to anticipate problems before purchase & sale contract or loan is locked, so there are no unpleasant surprises near closing time.

3.  Don’t glibly promise what I may not be able to offer!

4.  Treat the customer’s individual situation as meticulously as I would treat my own.

5.  Research immediate need while looking out for client’s long-term financial well-being.

6.  Give realistic Good Faith Estimates—don’t lowball closing costs or pretend I’m throwing certain costs in as a freebie.

 The customer is smart enough to know that no service WORTH having is free! I'll quote actual prices to the best of my ability, explain what each charge is actually for, how it gets paid, and if it can vary.
