History & Knowledge
I began in local real estate in 1995. I received my license in 1997 and sold 20 homes in my first year (a 'down' market at that time). Obviously, real estate is a VERY GOOD match for me. I've never been a "sales person" in the true sense of the word. I feel that homes sell themselves. However, what I provide is Service, Knowledge & 100% Customer Satisfaction. And I answer my phone....this is a big deal in real estate, as many of you are aware. In addition, I am a Continuing Life Member of the Sacramento Assn of Realtors "Master's Club", which is an elite group of only 10% of local Realtors are accepted each year. As of 2011, I was named one of the "Top 100" performing Realtors within the Sacramento/Tahoe region of Coldwell Banker.
In addition, I frequently counsel homeowners on short sales, loan mods and their options prior to foreclosure....at no cost to the homeowner!
I am a Sacramento native...which is a rarity these days. I absolutely LOVE the Sacramento Valley, and thoroughly enjoy it's proximity to the Sierra Nevada, San Francisco Bay, Marin County, Amador/Lodi/Napa wine country and all areas in between. I've seen many changes over the years, which includes extensive knowledge of the many neighborhoods, both good and not so, throughout our five Counties (Sac, El Dorado, Placer, Yuba, Yolo). I pride myself on my knowledge of not only the area, but real estate itself...which is akin to speaking another language altogether. I truly enjoy working with Buyers; first-timers, move-ups, or seasoned pros, and Sellers. My extensive experience with Buyers is what gives my Sellers the competitive edge, as I know very well what appeals to Buyers and what doesn't, especially in today's hectic, ever-changing market. Lastly, I have experience with appraisals as well as general contracting, yet another competitive edge that I provide to all clients~FREE of charge!
