I have had the pleasure of living in the Tampa Bay area for 30 years. I am very familiar with the West Coast of Florida and can truly say there is no area of Tampa Bay more beautiful or natural than The Nature Coast of Florida, including Spring Hill, Brooksville, Weeki Wachee & Hernando Beach area of Hernando County. This is exactly why my husband & I decided to call Spring Hill, Florida home! Hernando County & Spring Hill Florida Real Estate include some of the most beautiful homes & communities on Flroida's West Coast.

Let me show you the way to Florida's Nature Coast. I can truly say that Hernando County Florida is the most beautiful area I have had the pleasure of living in during my 36 years in Florida. If you've found me it's because you might be thinking of becoming a Hernando County resident. Hernando County is called Florida's Nature Coast for a reason. It is here that I am reminded of what the Florida Everglades looked like when I was a kid. The first time you see a couple of Bald Eagles perched on an old cypress tree limb while kayaking down the Weeki Wachee River, you too will understand why! I love being a part of a new community and watching it grow daily. Everyday something new happens in Hernando County. It's been very exciting to be in real estate right now and sharing my enthusiasm for the Hernando County area with customers and people who are new to the area.

Hernando County has experienced a tremendous growth rate in the past 10 years with an approximate population of over 150,000. It covers 312,000 acres (477 square miles), bordered by the Gulf of Mexico, the Chassahowitzka National Wildlife Refuge, the Withlacoochee State Forest, the Withlacoochee River & Weeki Wachee River. This would explain the name, "Nature Coast". We are surrounded by lush tropical landscape, wooded forests, and some of West Central Florida's most precious wildlife (like manatees, gopher turtles, black bears & Florida panthers).

Hernando County consists of Aripeka, Bayport, Brooksville, Hernando Beach, Istachatta, Nobleton, Lake Lindsey, Masaryktown, Pine Island, Ridge Manor & Ridge Manor West, Spring Hill and Weeki Wachee. Spring Hill is the largest city in Hernando County with a population of approximately 82,000. A majority of businesses thrive here with more new establishments & franchises opening every day.
