About Us:
I was born and raised in London, England. I moved to Florida after successfully running a corporate communications company in the UK for some 20 years. I fly the Stars and Stripes on my "About Me" page on my website for two reasons - (1) After September of 2001, I think all decent people around the world became American and (2) I soon will be a citizen of this great country. I am a Real Estate Broker, but I also invest in and manage income producing real estate. In fact my very first connection to Florida was to buy my own short term vacation rental home in the Disney area. I am very knowledgeable about the many different aspects of Real Estate and enjoy speaking to people about them.
I also feel it is important that you get to know me. Clearly I know about relocating! Moving across the Atlantic was an interesting experience to say the least and I learned a lot! I also moved around a lot as a kid and I just love to travel. I have visited 30 States in the US as well as Canada, Mexico, most of Europe including France, Italy, Greece and Hungary, as well as Cyprus, Israel and Egypt. When we meet we will have plenty to talk about.
I am married to Fay who is an interior decorator and I have two daughters, two sons and two grandchildren. My daughters are both in their teens and it would be fair to say I'm not handling that too well right now! We live right here in Orlando, Florida and we love it! I am involved in my daughters schools and have been active on various committees. This coming school year (2007/2008) I will again be Head Coach of my daughters High School Ladies Tennis team! Last year I took the team from a 6-7 record the previous year to an impressive 10-3. Our target for this year is to be unbeaten! Watch this space - and my blog.
In addition to the various things I have done in my life, I am also a published author. I love to read and to write. One of the Top Technology Real Estate Professionals in Central Florida, I try and focus on listening to and acting on your special needs. I am a highly experienced Broker who is proficient with technology and committed to MEETING YOUR NEEDS. I know all about Central Florida real estate in Orlando (including Bay Hill and Downtown High Rises), Windermere, Winter Park, Celebration, Lake Nona, Metro West, Gotha, Kissimmee, Davenport, Lake Wales, Winter Haven and the surrounding communities.
On a personal note, I am a season ticket holder at the Tampa Bay Bucs and my first sporting love would be Chelsea Football Club who are based in London and play what most of my American friends would call Soccer. After 38 years of waiting for me (and 50 years in total for Chelsea) they finally lifted the Championship in 2005. And now they have gone back to back in 2006! Finally, on my rare days off, I like nothing more than launching my boat on the Windermere Chain of Lakes for a few hours of fun and relaxation. I also recently installed a summer kitchen (see my blog) and spend as much time as possible cooking in it!.
So now you know a bit about me personally, perhaps you should know something professionally as well.
I am regarded as something of an expert by my peers. In fact I have recently been awarded the House Values Agent of the month for May 2005. This is a national award and includes some 20,000 agents across the USA and Canada.

Why am I so successful? I genuinely believe that exceptional customer service is an absolute right for people who are entrusting what is often the biggest financial outlay they will ever make - to me. I am always available to my customers, rarely turning off my cell phone before 11pm. Most of my customers have my home number as well and most become my friends. Every year at Christmas we have a gathering of my friends in my home. It is funny as I look around the room to realize just how many of them started out as customers.

You know that Luis and I really appreciate what you do and have done for us. Thanks for your reply and more importantly your time and honesty. We had a VERY bad experience with a Realtor in Austin when we first arrived here that ended up costing us $60,000 in a lost deposit and it left a really sour taste in our mouths; You have really restored our faith and we look forward to dealing with you in our purchase of a vacation property in Florida.
