I am a former Navy Brat. My dad retired here to the Pacific Northwest in 1975 because of the salmon fishing. It is still his passion and we have called this area home ever since.
I have been around real estate since 1993. I, first worked for a title company in Montana, then worked in escrow for 6 years in Marysville. I am a LPO (Limited Practice Officer) on inactive status as well as a Notary Public. I feel my background in escrow gives me a heads up in spotting problems and because I am highly aware of what happens in escrow, I am able to ensure a smoother closing process for my clients.
I worked as an assistant to a top producing real estate agent for two years before striking out on my own. I love working in real estate and helping my clients make decisions on one of their most important investments. I am a full time agent, a realtor and constantly learning something new.
I am the breadwinner in my family which means that I have a certain amount of success and dedication to my business. I have 3 kids that I love, Nathan, Rebecca and Alex. As a virtual empty nester, I have found that I enjoy country dancing and doggone it, just breathing.
I spent about 10 years of my life either coaching, managing or being a board member on the Mukilteo Little Leagues and was primarily focused on ensuring an ongoing softball program for the girls in the Mukilteo Little League. I am happy to pass that baton to the next generation of volunteers!
Foremost, I am patient. I am not here to force a decision on my clients. I understand that life happens. My purpose is to be as informative as I can so they are able to make good decisions. To that end, it has not been unusual for me to hear from would be clients years later when "life" gives them a breather and they are ready to buy or sell real estate.
