All About Sonja

I wasn't born in Texas, but as the saying goes, "I got here as soon as I could!!" I have lived in Houston, TX since September of 1970, so I have witnessed a lot of change over the years!! My first ten years of life were lived in Ashford South (near the intersection of Westheimer and Dairy Ashford). Dairy Ashford was a simple 2-lane blacktop road, bordered by pastureland. A dairy farmer lived near the intersection of what is now Briar Forest and Dairy Ashford (thus the street's name). The nearest grocery store (Randalls) was at Kirkwood and I-10. My mom was thrilled when a Safeway opened its doors three miles away from our home! How things have changed!

I have lived in the Katy area and the Northwest Houston area for most of my adult life. My two favorite things about living here in the Houston area are the warm, friendly people and the equally warm weather!!

My husband and I had a long distance estate to handle. Us being in Ohio and the home for sale in Houston. We really didn't know how we were going to do this !!!
