Long career. Silicon Valley, high tech. Transplant from the East Bay (Danville) and earlier (much earlier) from Mississippi. Customer focus, integrity, tech savvy, active non-profit volunteer.

My journey to become your advisor

I've had a very diverse career - starting with a degree in vocal performing music, I became a choral music teacher at a Jr. High in Las Vegas.  Moved to San Francisco when I married an Air Force Capt. from New York.  He went to law school, I went to work in business.  Only woman worldwide selling welding equipment and related products for Union Carbide - San Francisco.  Adopted a daughter, later divorced the Capt/lawyer, moved into high tech as a sales executive for Digital Equipment Corporation (DEC) in Santa Clara.  Top Producer, multiple DECathalon winner.  Sold everything related to high tech except s/w: systems, networks, computers, consulting.  Excellent neogtiator for people interested in win/win results.  Worked in business development for Oracle, sold consulting for a start-up that eventually went out of business.  Consulted with a hospital foundation to develop funding sources for women and children's programs.  Fundraiser for the San Ramon Valley School District run. Sold home in Danville and took a year off visiting a lifetime of friend around the U.S. for 10 months.  Celebrated daughter's marriage and later birth of my grandson.  I am a very fortunate cancer survivor.  Moved to the California wine country (Sonoma) where I am a very active community volunteer (in addition to Realtor (R) career) - WillMar Center (www.willmarcenter.org), Sonoma Valley Chorale,(www.sonomavalleychorale.org) Women's Health Initiative (www.svh.com and www.johnmuirhealth.com)  and the Sonoma Valley Vintners and Growers. (www.sonomavalleywine.com) Video producer/owner - humorous personal video soon to be released on social media (Sept. 07)  Strong community focus, ethical, responsive and client-centric.  My main objective in working with potential clients is to create a pleasant (often fun) real estate experience in which the accountability for the serious decisions being made is guaranteed and in the background so that the joy of home ownership can be fully experienced. 

How I can help...

I have always believed in, and benefited from, training.  I am currently about 3/4 through the Graduate Realtor Institute training and have already completed the e-PRO certification, Certified Home Marketing Certification and the Certified Negotiation Specialist.  I am an expert at conveying the excitement of living in such a vital and entertaining locale as Sonoma.  As a newcomer to this wonderful town, I can explain the vitality of our community as well as the advisability of investments in real estate here.  I am a master networker and can provide connections that you will need and want in this great spot!
